will any UC's take me back after withdrawing from UCI due to academic probation?

I transferred to UCI as a pharmaceutical science major, did VERY poorly (I didn't attend class) out of depression and this lost feeling that this isn't what I want to do with my life. I was on academic probation and withdrew my admission.

I went to a community college, explored a bit and found out what I actually want to do.So far, I got all straight As in my courses (including an organic chemistry class that I failed at UCI). I want to study psychology and eventually work in speech therapy. I'm applying this fall (to all the UCs and a handful of cal states) as a psychology major or linguistics (as the second choice major). Do I have ANY chance of getting admitted to any UCs or should I just save my money and time?

Are you currently in good standing with UCI? No UC will take you if you still have issues with a prior UC.

Another thing to be wary about is the unit caps. For UC specific questions, try here: <a href=“UC Transfers - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/
