Will anyone read my transfer essay?

<p>I currently go to Bard and I am applying to transfer to:
Skidmore
Boston College
Cornell College
New York University
University of Dallas
SUNY Geneseo
Lake Forest
Knox College
Ohio Wesleyan
Salisbury</p>

<p>Has anyone had experience with any of these schools? I'm applying as a Junior and I'm worried that I won't be able to integrate with the rest of the school. I'm transferring because I decided I want to major in Elementary Education. If anyone is willing to read my essay and give constructive criticism I would appreciate it very much!</p>

<p>Also, what chances do I have with these schools? My GPA is only about a 3.0 and my SAT was a 1280 but I have a lot of extracurriculars, volunteering abroad, etc.</p>

<p>Does anyone have experience with having a family member as a faculty member at a school they apply to? My father is an adjunct professor at NYU. Will that help my chances?</p>

<p>My applications are all complete: NORTHWESTERN, chapel hill, UT AUSTIN, WUSTL, DUKE, RICE, STANFORD, and so forth. I am not familiar with many of the schools you are applying to. University of Dallas is a safety for you. Cornell is a major reach. Boston College is a major reach. NYU is a major reach. You have a shot at the rest. You never know if you will get in to all those schools, so do the best you can by making yourself look like someone who will be a solid student if you are given the opportunity to study there.</p>
