Hello, I am a senior and am in the process of applying to colleges. Currently, I see myself as a doctor in the future but am interested in other things as well. I do not want to take the typical biology major track as I don't want to fall back on biology if being a doctor isn't what suits me. I really am interested in business, law and economics and another route I am considering is business law. Being a doctor is what I want to do most, but I want to prepare for any changes in my mind down the road. I know for a fact that you don't have to be a biology major to get into medical school and so an Economics major (the degree I want to get) will be fine for getting into medical school as long as I fulfill the other requirements. My biggest fear is that I have not taken any economics courses so I'm worried that colleges will look at my application strangely for that. Is this true at all?

(I will be taking an economics course the second semester of this year, but I was unable to get into AP Economics due to scheduling conflicts with other classes I valued more importantly).
