Will b-schools hold it against me if...

Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but....
When I (most likely) apply to b-school in a few years, will the schools hold it against me if:
A) I was waitlisted there for undergraduate and just sent back the postcard right away declining a spot on the waitlist (I have no interest in hanging around on a waitlist when I have great schools that genuinely want me to attend) and wrote 'undecided' for where I was going
or
B) Declined a spot in their freshman class.
Do the graduate schools have the information about whether any of this happened? Would they take it as a sign that maybe I don't really like their school? Or is it totally separate and I'm just being paranoid?

I don't think it will matter at all. Graduate divisions have completely separate admissions offices, so really the only way they could find out about your being waitlisted or declining a spot in the freshman class is if they dug around, which I assure you they would have neither the time nor the interest to do. If your undergrad record is solid, then who cares if you got WLed at their school several years ago?

And your interest in a university for UG is entirely different for your interest in a university for postgraduate studies. Two of my top choices for the MBA were both schools that I turned down coming out of college. I didn't choose those schools because they weren't a fit for my undergraduate goals, but were perfect for my MBA goals. I don't think they held any of that against me. I doubt they even knew any of that.

Don't worry, you're just being paranoid.

Don't worry.

I halfway applied to UChicago undergrad by sending them my SAT score and transcript. But I decided that UChicago wasn't for me, so I ended up not sending in the actual application form. I e-mailed them saying that I didn't want to apply to their school anymore. Of course that means I am no longer interested in the undergrad program. But they replied and simply said that while I'm not considering them for undergrad studies, I should still one day consider them for grad school if I can. That proves how it doesn't matter whether you liked them or not for undergrad. I actually liked the school but felt it wasn't right for me, as UChicago certainly isn't the school for everybody.

OK, thanks guys! Good to know.
