I got an internship at the Libertarian Party for the summer and now I need a place to live. Does anyone have a suggestion? I will be by myself (19 yrs old) and cannot cook so will staying at an University be a good idea and if so, which ones? Also, this is an unpaid internship so the cheapest is the best.

P.S Sorry screwed up the spelling in the title

where in DC is your internship located?

there are a number of schools in DC that might rent out rooms during the summer.

IMO you should ask your internship contact where people have lived in the past, that will give you some options to start with.

I think that George Washington University would be the best bet. They have some pretty good housing options over the summer (should be on their website). Georgetown would be pretty sweet too if you’re looking for a better nightlife, but the walk to the nearest metro station isn’t fun over the summer and the buses aren’t as reliable.
