Will being a part time student affect my admission?

I'm a transfer student that applied to UCSB Econ/Accounting with TAG. I was wondering, do I have to be a full time student my spring semester? I'm currently full time with 13 units but am thinking of dropping calc which will drop me to 8 units.

I read the 2013 TAG and there's nothing about whether you have to be a full time student or not but I would just like some clarity, thanks.

Kind of found my answer which is that I do not have to be a full time student. By the way, already completed my prereqs and GE.

You’ll be fine. I wouldn’t drop calc though. I applied to UCSB and UCSC because they did not require calc for their econ majors as I got all my stuff done in 2 years so I did not have the time with the low math I tested into to get the calc series done. I’ve talked to UCSC and read on assist and they really suggest econ majors get the calc series done instead of business calc. I’m taking precal right now and I’m not sure if I’ll end up doing the calc series but long story short I would keep on with it!

Only UC Davis is picky about being full time for the TAG but if you have a good reason (work, health issue etc.) they are okay with it.
