I created a website about my research project and I’m hoping that the Brown admissions people will look it up if they’re curious about my research. I don’t really know what else they’d have to verify the fact that I DID in fact do research.

If you did research and want them to know about it, write a short summary of what you did and include it in the “additional information” section on the Common App. They will not review your website.

They may very well take a quick look at your website. My son created his first website (he is now a CS major) to help implement a community service project of his own design. He received a letter from his advocate who mentioned that the community service project was one of the factors which impressed the committee.

That said, don’t expect anyone to spend more than a few minutes looking at your site. It should be very well organized and easy to find important details – no one is going to plow through a sea of endless text.

i have a question as well: my brother and i do youtube computer tutorials (we have maybe 300,00 views total now which isn’t much)

should i include it? is it worth it? we do it for fun so no loss
