Specifically, online science AP courses. Since it's pretty difficult to do laboratory experiments in my house, considering there's no lab supervisor and the setting isn't very conductive for them either. The only other option is virtual experiments. The thing is, I've heard that a lot of colleges won't accept credit from the class if there were no hands-on experiments involved. Is this true?

yes, they will. if you took the ap exam and received the requisite score to get credit for the class, they'll give you the credit. Some colleges, however, won't give lab credit at all for ap courses, and some will include the lab credit when giving you credit for ap scores. Taking it online shouldn't make a difference.

Yes, only the grade matters. If you're taking chem, bio, or physics, though, you'll want to keep all your labs in a binder that you can show to your college, if that becomes necessary. A friend of mine got full credit at Penn State for chem because she kept her lab stuff.

Most colleges just look at the AP score, however some want you to take the actual course (but thats very rare so you dont have to worry much about it)..
