So here's the deal. I'm applying to some colleges that don't take score choice, so I'll have to send all of my standardized test scores. Here's how it is:
1st SAT: 2040 (670CR, 680W, 690M)
2nd SAT: 2040 (640CR, 650W, 750M)
Superscore: 2100
ACT: 34 (34E, 35M, 32R, 35S, 9W)

So... I think my ACT is undoubtedly better than my SAT, correct? I think it translates to a 2200-2290 on the SAT. Either way, it is a better score. When I apply with my SAT and ACT, will colleges take my SAT into account or will they just care about my ACT since it is better?

I’m not aware of any college that wants ALL scores from ALL tests. They either want ALL your ACT scores, or ALL your SAT scores – but not both. As your 34 ACT is better than your superscored SAT, I would just send colleges your ACT and be done with it.

Princeton, Columbia, Duke, JHU, CMU, UNC chapel hill, Gtech and NC state. I tried doing some research, however, I just couldn’t find info for a lot of these schools. Maybe you guys know how to search for it? Navigating their websites doesn’t really help for some reason. I may just email them to be sure, is that a good idea?

Which ones specifically couldn’t you find testing requirements and test reporting requirements on the website? This is basic admissions information that most schools post very clearly on their website. The general route is something like: Admissions > Undergraduate > Apply > Standardized Testing.

Relatively few schools don’t accept Score Choice and even fewer want your complete testing history even though you have fulfilled their testing requirement with either the SAT or ACT (as noted by other members, S is one, and even it has exceptions).

There are schools that specifically say they want to see ALL testing history which includes SAT/ACT. I don’t know how big of a deal it is, if you don’t. After All there is additional cost involved
