Will colleges reject you or not provide you with aid if financial aid information is a bit late?

I have sent in my fafsa and css profile information to colleges. But, it is taking a while to upload the IDOC information. So I’m worried if I might get rejected or not be provided with financial aid because I wouldn’t be able to attend the colleges if this was the case

It depends. Check each college’s website for their due date and then in the financial section check the FAQS. They usually answer the question of whether or not the deadline for supporting document is a firm one in that section. Failing that, call admissions at the college(s).

Late FA forms won’t cause you to get rejected. It may cause you to get less FA than you would have had you filed on time.

Are you still eligible for FAFSA even if you didn’t say on common app that you need financial aid? Does FAFSA include like scholarships as well?

Does this mean that you don’t have all of the documents or that the documents were uploaded to IDOC but have not yet been processed? If you don’t have all of the documents yet, how long do you think it will take to get them?

This is totally school dependent.

Schools have deadlines for a reason. I would say…contact the schools and see what they say about late IDOC submissions.

And in the future…don’t miss deadlines.
