My parents just submitted the majority of the CSS Profile/FAFSA forms this weekend (a couple of days after the deadline). Will this look bad on my part, and possibly hurt my application, that I waited until the last minute to submit/submitted after the deadline?

Also, none of these schools sent me reminders about financial aid.... is this a bad sign?

Schools treat all applicants equally whether they submitted the data two months before the deadline or two minutes before. However, if you were late because of your own fault, colleges will look badly at you.

With that being said, colleges will not reject you for this.

Nonsense! The belated filing of financial aid forms will NOT impact admissions decisions. In fact, it’s unlikely that the admissions officers reviewing your file will even be aware of it.

Get used to “no reminders” in college. You are not in High School any more. You won’t get profs reminding you about an exam or to study or asking why your paper is late.
