Will colleges take bible courses into account when calculating my GPA?

My co-op requires me to take a bible credit every year. This year it would bring my possible weighted GPA from 4.6 to 4.5 and in junior and senior year a possibility of 5.0 to 4.8. Will colleges take this into account when calculating my GPA? I don’t plan to apply to any christian school but If I did, I should have an A because I know almost all of the information.

I feel that it would be important to explain this especially in the homeschool thread. I did not intend to offend anyone or make it seem like bible class is or has been a burden, I enjoy it very much.

Some will, some won’t. Regardless, there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.

Colleges understand that different schools have different academic requirements for graduation. Every kid attending a Catholic HS, for example, needs to take 4 years of theology, which in most cases will not be weighted. They do just fine in the admissions process for all colleges, not just Catholic ones. This is a non-issue.

@skieurope Thanks for the Clarification!
