Will fraternities accept me?

I’m coming to ole miss in the fall, and I want to join a frat. I’m from Cali, but I’m a black guy. The thing is I don’t wanna join a NPHC. Do you think I have a good chance? And which ones would accept me?

Also, as someone in that thread pointed out, no one from California refers to themselves as from “Cali.” From the Dec. 11, 2013 Business Insider:

Whatever you do, definitely don’t say “Cali.” It seems that the only people who don’t refer to California as “Cali” are the Golden State natives themselves. You will very, very rarely hear a Californian call their home state by this name, despite the fact that people from everywhere else love to call it that.

@frylocc Just go through the recruitment process for what it is… There are over 250 organizations on campus. Don’t put all your eggs in the fraternity basket. There’s more to Ole Miss than that.
