Will Georgetown University be interested in me?

Hi, are my chances of getting into Georgetown great? So far as a junior I have received $60,000 in financial aid and scholarships.

-I have a 3.3 Unweighted GPA, which is 4.4 Weighted on a nation scale.
-ACT is 29 … SAT is 1830
-I have taken and passed 6 AP Classes, and plan to take 5 more (AP Human Geo, AP World, AP Language, AP Psych, AP US History, AP Environmental) … and the ones I plan to take next year are AP Macro, AP Micro, AP Government, AP Comparative Govt. and AP Literature.
-I have 36 college credits at my local community college in a dual enrollment program.
-I am an avid and award winning member of Model United Nations and have attended meetings across the country.
-I am apart of the Debate Team at my school, and have a leading opening/closing (Rebut Major) role.
-I started a club.
-I am also apart of Key Club, BETA club, National honors Society, an Ambassador Program at my school, and 4a club to help autistic students (like Best Buddies).
-I have over 100 hours of community service hours.
-I play 2 sports (Ice Hockey and Golf)
-My debt card is a Georgetown University one! haha…
-I have visited Georgetown and have references to Georgetown.

So what do you think, do I have a good chance at a decent school like Georgetown specifically?

Your low GPA and test scores will make it very difficult. Also, your ECs aren’t stellar, so that might be a barrier to admission.

How have you received $60,000 in scholarships as a junior? (that’s great, btw).

And @hwhat318 is right…you need to get those test scores way up…

Test scores need to be brought up significantly to mask the shortfall in GPA
