Will i be able to get financial aid

i come from upper middle class in San Diego i do not know all the details but i know i won't be able to afford NYU easily. My parents make about 90k a year each

Merit based aid is always possible no matter the income, looked at any scholarships lately?

Your parents make about $180k per year? You won’t likely qualify for aid at NYU. Do you have a school that you can afford?

As I understand, NYU’s aid is merit/need-based. So, you have to have ned and stats to get some aid from them.

With an income in that range you will not qualify for any federal aid, but at some schools you may get merit aid or even need based aid. Your best bet is to go to the website of the college your interested in and run the Net price Calculator. This will give you an idea what that school will cost you.

i don’t know if i will be able to get a merit based scholarship because getting in won’t be easy. Im currently a junior with about a 4.25 and 32 on the act

Oh please. Where do you plan to apply that admissions won’t be easy? A GPA of 4.25 and a 32 on the ACT. Please say you are kidding when you say getting in will be difficult. There are MANY colleges where you would receive guaranteed merit aid. NO, you would not be an auto admit for HYPSM, but no one is.

Also you’re in California, you have several colleges in the state that rival NYU in terms of “prestige” and quality but without the NYU sticker price!

What colleges have as good of a business school in California that are about the same difficulty to get into as NYU?

Haas(Cal) and Anderson(UCLA) are up there with Sterns.
