Will I Be kissing UCLA good bye?

Basically, I have a quick question. I got above a 3.0 gpa first semester (Taking several APs senior year= bad idea for me), but this semester, I got 2 confirmed C's, but I think I might get another C this semester, bringing my potential second semester GPA to a 2.83. What will happen? Will I get kicked out of LA? Any help is welcome. :(

its a 3.0 year round. so if you got enough first semester to balance the 2.83 out, youre fine. if you get the third C, though, you might be screwed.

what was your GPA in the first semester? It has to be high enough to offset the 2.83 GPA in your second semester. Can you work harder so that you don’t get the third C?

I’m sure you’ll be fine, if they ask anything about it, just explain. And a C in an AP class is not awful…i got one in Calculus this semester. My friend that got in UCBerkeley got a D+ in calc but they still let her in.

:) btw, judging by your username, did you attend the Black Admit Weekend?

Bumping…

zzzboy already answered your question.

Jinobi, I know that zzzboy answered my question. I’m just hoping for some more reassuring/positive feedback. Can you blame me? I’m freaking out over here! :(

Binta92: I was at Black Admit Weekend. Great times :)

Don’t worry about it too much. As long as you don’t completely screw yourself over, even if its below a 3.0 just report and you should be fine.

BTW…this is Marques Watson. I was the dude that hosted the NPHC Stroll-Off at Admit Weekend and I was in the Talent Show lol…

Will you be using your tongue?

A quick update: I turned in that Problem Report and I’m still going  Thanks for all the replies.

Marques: I remember you. Great job. It was an awesome weekend.
