will i be revoked if i got a d in senior year?

I got admitted by DU. but the second quarter i didn't do well, got 2 Cs and 1 D. the admission page said that Acceptance is contingent upon senior year grade. i was scared and i didn't confirm the acceptance. i want to wait till my grade come up at second semester. will i have a chance if i do well at second semester? when they will require the final high school grade? anybody know?

What is DU? A D could get you rescinded at many places. You will have to find out. You still need to confirm your acceptance, when is the due date for that, I think if you until the school year is over and you will lose your spot.

Drexel, say my 2 cents.

Final grades aren’t sent to your school of choice until after your senior year is complete, but most schools also require mid-year reports from GCs with the first term results. Ask your GC if he/she plans to send a mid-year report even though you have already been accepted.

If you know Drexel is your first choice, there is no harm in confirming, even if your grades put you at risk for rescision. If that’s your situation, go ahead and confirm and then work hard to keep your grades up. If you have other acceptances at schools where you don’t think your low grades put your acceptance at risk, you might want to leave those open as long as is allowed.
