You will probably get accepted. the average SAT is 1380. SUNY generally goes by SAT numbers. there is this site: http://www.collegesimply.com very useful!
Your chances would probably be strongly dependant on your TOEFL score. You say you came 4 years ago so this test will be required. I’m sure that you realize that all colleges just want to make money so they will want to help you attend but I think that it will slightly depend on your intended major. If you are thinking of a STEM major, I don’t doubt you will get in, but if you are majoring in something like History Education, you might have a problem.
If it is only the humanities classes pulling your average down, then that should not impact on your chances. Your SATs scores would be very welcomed by a SUNY. I can’t imagine you not being accepted. Also, about an earlier posted idea, no, the idea that the college wants to admit you because they want the tuition is not accurate and does not even consider how tuition relates to local campuses. If grades in your courses for all but the humanities are strong, I think you will have no problems being accepted.
I disagree with you. The previous person said that they want to admit as many people as can fit in every seat, this is true. He also said the school will try to help where they can to make it work, that is also true. The limiting factor for this applicant will be the reading writing and comprehension tests. The common data set for Stony Brook indicates that the applicants GPA and SAT are equally important, both are in good standing. The important point stated by the previous forum poster is the TOEFL requirements at Stony Brook which can be found here.
