<p>I was accepted to Stony Brook (Early Action), however my grades were slightly lower than average. My GPA is an 86 and my SAT score was a 1250 (excluding writing section). I've been hearing a lot about how the students are very competetive and rather smart. I am not an A student...will I likely have trouble with the work load/academics?</p>
<p>They would not have accepted you if they did not think you could do the work. The fact that you are taking this kind of serious attitude and trying to evaluate yourself sincerely is very important and will stand you in good stead. Just think of how much better off you’ll be than someone with a better HS GPA and a lazy attitude. Don’t forget–college is going to be a whole new ballgame. You’re going to start fresh!</p>
