Will I fit in?

Hi everyone,
I really love Pepperdine and I'm going to visit later this week and I feel like it would be an amazing school for me both academically and location wise. The one thing I'm not too sure about is if I would fit in with the type of people there. I come from a low-middle class Texan Catholic Hispanic family and I'm not sure if I would be able to live to how some people spend their time (if that makes sense). How is the social life on campus? Are people open to others from backgrounds that don't come from the rich lifestyle? If there is any other info someone could give about that kind of stuff, I'd gladly appreciate it.

I wonder about this too!! Its the perfect size, weather, academics for me, but I’ve never been to Malibu and I’m not the volleyball-playing blonde that was president of her high school like I’ve heard it described. I don’t want to pretend I’m someone I’m not if I actually went there. (I’m from the midwest, middle class btw)

I heard they give a lot of financial aid (although many who attend don’t need it, thus much of it goes to lower income students)
and I’m pretty sure the “volleyball-playing blonde” is a stereotype although there probably is many but there’s a large enough student body that there’s diversity.
btw, when are you guys applying? I’m HS class of 2016! excited to be applying!

and @‌ hey, also from the midwest! altho i’m upper middle class i consider myself middle class due to the amount of siblings i have lol

In the end, I didn’t end up applying at the last minute. I applied to another school ED and got in so it didn’t matter.

what school, if you dont mind me asking @byspare
