Michigan isn't my first choice, but it's a great school overall and I want to make sure I'll be able to get in without retaking the SATs again if I don't get into my first choice.

Well Michigan is no safety for anyone. Three questions, what does the 95 translate into a 4.0; are in in-state or OOS; do you want LSA or Engineering admission? If you are in-state and your GPA translates into a 3.85 - 3.90, I would say you stand a better than 50% chance.

If you are OOS or if your GPA translates into a 3.7-3.8 I would say you have less than a 50% chance. Engineering may make your chances slightly less.

The 2070 SAT isn’t going to help you all that much – pretty average for admitted students.

If you are in state, I would say you are almost a lock to get in, as long as your recommendations and essays are solid. Judging by your extracurriculars, I am assuming that you recommendations will be excellent so its really only your essays that might prevent you from getting in. I wouldn’t worry too much about your SAT, it’s where it needs to be. I’m going to guess that a 95 is around a 3.9 GPA, so with that you should be in a very good position. If you are out of state, you’re still in good shape but then I wouldn’t consider you a lock, only near-lock.

What they said

well if you haven’t gotten below a 93 average your gpa could actually be a 4.0 which would greatly improve your chances
