<p>Hi, well I didnt have luck with my first post since everyone ignored it for some reason.</p>
<p>Here are my stats, quick and straightforward</p>
<p>Intended major: Chem engineering, something engineering related</p>
<p>SAT - 2170, 700 M, 740 CR, 730 W
SATII - Bio 710 planning on chem and math expected above 700</p>
<p>GPA - 3.8 W , 3.67 UW</p>
<p>Good recs, good essay</p>
<p>ECs: one of the leaders on FIRST Robotics team
Varsity math team
Community service club
120+ hours volunteering at hospital </p>
<p>Schools: GA Tech out of state, RPI, Umich AA, CMU, WPI</p>
<p>What does a 3.8 GPA mean at your school? Depending on your actually grades, schools are going to give you the thumbs up or thumbs down. Also, class rank?</p>
<p>A 3.8 weighted isnt a bad GPA at my school, but it isnt at the top either, I think I have a class rank 21 or in the top 15%. </p>
<p>Some people have 4.5s or 4.7s on their weighted GPA. So I have a 3.67 unweighted GPA out of 4.0 and a 3.8 weighted out of 5.</p>
<p>Sorry I don't know too much about each of the schools on your list, however, I think UMich (where I'll be going) is a reach.</p>

<p>I think you have a pretty good shot at all those schools, especially if you are in state for Michigan. Also, depending on the competitiveness of your h.s., don't be afraid to aim a little higher.</p>
