Hey all, I'm going to be a senior this year and I am determined to go to UCF. I'm kinda nervous because I've gotten all kinds of answers about how hard/easy it is to get into UCF. I'm also homeschooled, does that make a difference?
Stats:
UW GPA: 3.75
W GPA: 4.4
SAT I: 1840- 600 M, 620 CR, 620 WR (taking again in October)
Full time Dual Enrollment at Valencia
8 courses- 24 credits in 2 semesters
Not much EC's, although I was a two-time student of the year at my religous school, I go there thats why I did homeschooling. I also played basketball on a FBVA team.
Is this good enough to be accepted? How bout scholarships? And when should I apply? I want to wait till my second SAT score is in, which I hope to break 2000. Thanks in advance!

You should have no problem at all with gaining admission. CONGRATS You also have a good chance for scholarships. If you are nervous about being accepted apply early (September-October) but you shouldn’t have a problem until after December when the admissions is overflowing with applications. It is also best to apply early if you want scholarships because obviously there is more money to give out sooner than later. good luck!!!
