Will I get into any of the top Engineering Colleges?

<p>Hey Guys, as a Junior in High School, I was wondering if i had a shot at going to a top engineering college such as Caltech, MIT, Princeton, Olin etc. So, here's a little info about me.</p>

<p>Class Rank: Top 5% : 12/708
GPA: unweighted- 4.6 weighted- 4.0
SAT: 2300- 800 math, 750 reading, 750 writing (Going to retake for better score)
ACT- 32</p>

<p>My teacher recommended me to take on the IB program.
IB diploma is my goal. </p>

- Created applications for Nokia and microsoft
- Volunteer at my dads work to help out and learn at the same time about software engineering ( At nokia/ microsoft) about 150hrs till now.
Thats basically it. I know ill do good in the IB classes despite all the rumors saying IB is a living hell.

<p>You have a slim chance; keep in mind that you’ll be up against applicants who have participated in/won major competitions such as ISEF, IOI or USAMO/IMO, or published original research. Your grades and SAT scores are fine (I’m not sure if it’s worth retaking), but you may want to strengthen the other parts of your application.</p>
