Hi I attend the Bronx HS of Science in NYC. The school is really hard and is ranked in the Top 100 HS in America by the “US News and World Report”. However my grades are pretty low, GPA is 79 or a 2.4. I am really scared I won’t get in.

Somebody wrote -
“You can get in with a 3.0 (2.5-2.9 considered)
or 24 on ACT
or 1110 on SAT
or top 25%”

Does “or” mean I just need at least one of the criteria to get into the school?

Who doesn’t get into ASU?
That’s like a running joke here. EVERYONE gets into ASU. It’s almost at community college standing.

Yes. If you meet one out of the three criteria you will be accepted. So as long as your ACT/SAT score meets or exceeds the minimum, you’ll be fine.

So even though I f***ed up my GPA I can still get in with a 24 on ACT or 1110 on SAT? Is the SAT out of 1600 or 2400? Because I didn’t take my SATs yet but I got a 1910 on my PSATs.

It’s out of 1600. Math and Reading sections are only counted.
