I am currently a sophomore and I have a weighted GPA of 4.3 and unweighted GPA of 3.7. Is there any chance that I will get into Ucs or Ivy league if I have a SAT score above 2200?
Other info:
-Indian
- Freshman year 4.0 GPA (weighted and unweighted)
2nd quarter going on right now...

Ivy league is a gamble, but that is for everyone. Last year my high schools graduating class was two kids one kid had a 35 on the act, 2360 on the SAT 4.8 GPA and amazing EC’s, the other kid had a 1770 SAT and a 4.00 and similar ECs. the kid with the 1770 got into 2 ivy and UCberkely, the other got rejected and waitlisted from all ivies and UCberkeley, and is now going to UCSD.

You’re a sophomore tand your want to know now if you’ll get in? We are not mindreaders. No one knows. There are more rejections than not. Concentrate on doing your work and EC’s and write back in your senior year.

I agree ^

You need to focus on developing some passions in extracurriculars. Make sure you nail those test scores and keep a rigorous course load and you should be a competitive applicant. Right now its just too hard to tell without future information.
