Will I Get into LSU?

I'm from Massachusetts.
GPA is somewhere between 3.3 and 3.5 unweighted
SAT is 1940 composite, 1190 CR/M. (Taking it again)
ACT (Taking it soon)
I have a good deal of extracurriculars including NHS.
I'm confident that I can write a good essay. My SAT writing score was 750
My school only offers 5 AP courses. 3 are in language so I may only have 1. Other than that I'm in mostly honors classes.

Good recommendations

Without a doubt, IMO. A good ACT score could be worth $$$ in scholarships.

You should have absolutely no problems whatsoever. Looking at scholarships, you may have a harder chance but I’d say you’re likely for one if you’re admitted.

LSU doesn’t have an essay on the application. I think they require one if you’re interested in the Honors College now, but I’m not sure.

If you can get a 30+ on the ACT, you’re looking at full tuition plus good honors college odds. Priority scheduling is nice.

Odds of just admission? 100%

Just curious crosen, what caught your attention about LSU being you live in out of state?

I’m from Georgia originally and I live in MA. now. My entire family is from the south with the vast majority being from southern miss and louisiana. I have lots of family in Baton Rouge and I know many graduates. Also I’ve watched SEC football my entire life and I’d love to be part of that.

very cool!
