Will I get into Michigan State University for accounting?

Will I get into MSU with a 22 on ACT and volunteer work?
Currently I'm a junior in high school and I took the ACT twice. First time I got a 21 with a 25 on Math and 21 on English. Second time I got a 22 with a 21 on Math and 22 on English. I've been taking challenging classes since freshman year including Honors English and AP Microeconomics. I did a lot of extracurricular in the past. Freshman year I did Tennis, Business Professional of America, Orchestra, Music Lessons, Thespian Volunteer Work, and Library Work. Sophomore Year I did Volunteer Work, Orchestra, and Music Lessons. Junior Year I did Earth Club and Key Club. 1st semester I had an overall GPA of 3.6 and I was ranked 160 out of 600, but I'm probably lower now because I got mostly B's and A-'s this term.

I'm a prospective Michigan State University student. I plan on getting a job/internship or doing volunteer this summer. Senior Year I plan on doing Cross Country, Earth Club, Key Club, and start a club (for leadership). I'm expecting to get in to major in accounting and apply to the Eli Broad Business School (I need 3.5 GPA in university). I have a strong background in math, computer science, and business (I'm taking accounting in high school).

***Another reason why I believe should get in is because I'm in-state. In addition I would add a lot of diversity to MSU, because I'm adopted, Asian, American-Canadian citizen, and my parents are Caucasian and Asian. I'm going to try to put that in my college essay. I also was a vegetarian for 5 years.

I'm retaking the ACT in June and I'm striving to get a 24-25 composite (I've been practicing everyday...except for today ^_^)

I have at least 60 hours of community service. :(

you should be good.

Your GPA and extracurriculars are pretty good and being in state helps a lot. Just try to work on raising your ACT and I think you have a pretty good chance. Also, you may already know this, but since MSU has rolling admissions, you have a better shot if you apply early. I know of two cases of people with 30 ACTs and 3.7+ GPAs who got rejected because they applied so late. Hope that this helps, and I think you have a pretty good shot.

Definitely try to get up to a 25 (maybe take the SAT as well) and apply early. Everything else is good, so you’ll probably get in if you bring the test scores up a bit.
