Will I get into Newhouse?

<p>I still haven't heard from admissions - I dont know if that means they haven't sent out the rejection letters yet or if mine just hasn't come. I applied to newhouse and want to major in magazine journalism.</p>

<p>My stats:
SATs: 1270/1600
GPA: 3.95
APs: 5 in two years
Editor in Chief of Yearbook
Graduation Chair
4 honor societies
lots of volunteering
job for 2 years
awesome teacher recs</p>

<p>Also, I'm from Northern Virginia and my county has a tougher grading scale. Do I have a chance at Newhouse?</p>

<p>Friendsfanatic4, I live near you in Maryland. Is your GPA of 3.95 weighted or unweighted? If unweighted, you are probably in. If weighted, it will be a bit iffy.</p>
