Will I get into Penn State university

I am going for Engineering. I have a 2.8 GPA weighted (My classes are too easy and I don't try)

I have a 4.8 senior year (don't know if they look at that)

11 honors/AP including physics, calc 1 and 2

2110 SAT score

Like 6 extra curricular activites

Also: My math SAT score is not spectacular (like one might expect from a 2110 scorer going for engineering).... my CR score was actually higher, does this look better or worse for applying to engineering? I know some kids who got 750's in math but like 400 in CR.

thanks

Is this how you will explain your low GPA on the application? The Penn State admissions staff will get a laugh out of that.

I’m pretty sure this isn’t the right place to post this question, but I would think that you would get into a branch campus for engineering with a slight possibility at main, since they say GPA is 2/3 of the decision and a 2.8 is well below average. I’m pretty sure the gpa calculation is only for Freshman-Junior year, which will hurt you.

Yeah lol it’s actually true, my biology, math courses were a joke, proven how I failed trig, but scored highest on calc final exam

dude i wanna be like you just not really care and live life

Yes. those are really good stats. Good luck!!!

Hey can someone chance me? 25 act (26 math and sci 10 writing) 3.56 gpa applied summer term penn state engineering. ECs: Eagle Scout, lots of service hrs, varsity sports, tutor inner city kids
