<p>Your GPA is terrible, I don’t think you have a very good chance. Try retaking the SAT’s…other than that you should be fine. What I don’t understand is how a smart student like you did beyond bad on the SAT’s?!</p>
<p>Actually, I think your GPA is solid. I had roughly a 4.0 weighted, 2080 on the SATs (1430 without the writing score), and had virtually no legitimate extracurriculars (the only significant award I received was the Hispanic Scholar), and I got accepted to VT early decision. Is your SAT score math/reading only? If so, assuming you’re good with extracurriculars and awards, you should be in good shape, though I’d retake the SAT again just in case. On the other hand, your ACT seems fine, though I don’t know a whole lot about it.</p>
