yo, so i have been accepted into Johns Hopkins. But i think that i will have 2-3 C in my final grades. will i get my acceptance revoked? all of my other classes are As and a few Bs.

They don’t want C’s. A’s and B’s are ok. As long as you have a legitimate reason for those grades, I think you should be fine.

it depends on what grades you were getting when you applied. colleges will revoke acceptances for a significant grade drop, but i’m not sure exactly what that is. they’ll probably warn you first, but you have plenty of time before the end of the year, so just focus on getting at least B-'s in all classes to make sure that’s not something you need to worry about. good luck! :)

thanks a bunch. :)

yeah, I’d try to get just one C. B’s are generally fine. The way I gauge my senioritis and prospective end-of-year grades is “would I have been accepted originally with these grades?” At my ED school, straight C’s are a reason for rescindence-- check with hopkins.

how exactly does one figure that out? who would i need to contact? The admissions board?
