Will I get rescinded?

Hi! I was accepted to Hopkins ED, and in a week or so, Hopkins will be receiving my midyear grades. Unfortunately, due to the stress of application season in the beginning of senior year, I got a C+ in AP Calc during first quarter (2 B's, and the rest A's), and second quarter, I got a C+ in AP Chem (again, 2 B's, and the rest A's).

I'm really worried because it's a higher caliber institution and I'm worried that my acceptance will get rescinded and I'll have nowhere else to go since all other deadlines passed and I withdrew all other applications (because of the ED binding agreement).

Is is possible that I could get my admission rescinded based on these midyear grades? Or will Hopkins warn me first and then decide whether to rescind based on my final transcript, which I will send in July?

I believe you risk getting rescinded if you receive a grade LOWER than a C-. Does your school run on a semester system?

We have 4 quarters in the year, and over the first two quarters, I received these 2 C+ grades (one in each quarter). I know I’ll be able to do much better and return to the grades I have been getting in the past (A’s and a few B’s) in the next 2 quarters, since college applications are finally over now. I’m just worried that these 2 C+ grades might get me rescinded.

But I was just wondering if Hopkins could send me a warning at first and give me the chance to improve by the end of the year or if they would just rescind me right away upon receiving my mid-year grades?

What is also really annoying is that these C+ grades were both within 1 point of being B’s. :(

bump??
