I applied EA, and my semester grades have always been As.

Last semester of senior year however, I will get a C+ in AP Bio, a B- in AP physics, and a B+ in AP Calc.

Do I have a chance of getting my admissions revoked?

Do I have a chance of getting my admissions revoked?

Yes, it’s quite likely.

Of course not! Central IFC just gave a ridiculous answer to a ridiculous question.

In general, colleges revoke when there are D/F or many C’s.

One C and some B’s shouldn’t get your admission revoked.

No, you’re fine.

D+ is the cutoff for a letter of concern, which if you reply in an intelligent and reasonable manner, won’t affect you at all either.

It might ease your mind to reach out to the admissions office and ask them directly. Also, be sure to explain any extenuating circumstance for the drop in grades, if it was because of something other than senioritis.

I think they typically see some drop in grades among admitted students in the last semester of senior year and with a high C and two Bs, I don’t think you have anything to worry about.

If you reach out to the admissions office, can you post their response?

Hey guys, senior year semester ended and my grades are:

first semester: 3 A’s and 3 B’s.
second semester:2 A’s and 4 B’s.

No reason to be worried, right?

All these people going insane over a few Bs. Lighten up, ladies and gentlemen, you’ll be fiiiiiiiiiiiiiine.

Revoking is awkward for everyone, and I’ve heard that colleges -really- don’t like to do it. Just… don’t murder anyone and you’ll be fine.

@PieceofToast, haha, I’m kind of scared for a good reason. Two of the B’s are from classes that I have already taken, and yeah, I did worse the second time. And they weren’t hard either, geometry and precalculus. (I’m going to die at NU).

…a couple of Bs won’t make them want to throw you off a cliff :P
