I’ve been admitted to UCLA as a transfer for the Fall of 2017. I realized when I got my admission that I reported that I was planning to take a dance class in the spring which I ended up having to drop because it required a joint course (before the app/drop deadline at my school so it won’t even be a “W”). I am an American Literature and Culture major and this class wasn’t needed for anything (I was just trying to take it for fun). I still will have over 60 semester units and will be completing my major prep and IGETC. I called the office of admissions and they said I still have to report the change and won’t get a response back until the end of the month. WHAT?! Would they rescind me for a class that was just intended to be for fun?! Help!!
Relax. They are not looking for reasons to rescind people. If they accepted you, they want you., but they need to verify everything . . . . . and everything at a school with their size enrollment takes time. If you have the units, major prep and IGETC, you’ll be fine.
@1Dreamer Thank you Thank you. I think I know that deep down, I’m just a little freaked out!
