Okay so there’s a possibility I might get rescinded because of my grade in AP Calculus BC. I have A’s and B’s in the rest of my classes and are very consistent with my grades in years past, excluding math. My grades first and second are and were
AP Government/Econ: A/B?
Psychology: A/A?
AP Literature: B/B?
Marching Band: A/A?
AP Spanish: B/A?
AP Calculus BC: C/D?
At this point there’s no way for me to bring my grade up. I stated in my original application that math has always been my worst subject if that makes a difference. Also I’ve gone to tutoring every day and even put off studying for other classes and doing other homework to study for math.
Should I do pass/fail? Should I ask to be on academic probation? Should I ask if I can retake the class over the summer at CC?
Any advice is helpful. Please and thanks!
Call admissions and give them a heads up on the situation. I am sure they will try to work with you and offer some suggestions.
Since its not a required class, probably not. I’d echo the comment above, call admissions and ask what you can do before your grade is final
