If I have a D for a non-AP math course even though I’ve been accepted to the College of Arts and Sciences, will I be rescinded?
I will have mostly A’s and B’s, and one D in Linear Algebra (potentially), so will this lead to getting rescinded?
Doubt it. These things happen. Schools know that they happen. Call them for reassurance.
I’ve been getting mixed message throughout the site though. Some say that ONE D will not result in any harm, while others say D’s will result in getting rescinded. I can confidently say that I will definitely have A’s and B’s on my final report, and that this course will potentially be a D, but I am extremely terrified of losing my acceptance.
I was accepted to CALS but I also have a D in a non AP math class lol…
^That’s not really funny. Kids who got rejected are carrying As in that class…
@JTheGreat58 are you saying your final semester grade will be an A or B with a quarter grade D, or final grade D. 2 different things.
I’m saying that my final grade may potentially be a D, but that I’m working on raising it.
Ouch. It might then. Move heaven and earth! Teachers don’t want this to happen, so do whatever it takes! It’s not like you are begging for an A, so they may be more sympathetic! Ask your GC to get involved if you can. Good luck.
