Soooo basically i failed my math class junior year and thought that it would be a smart idea to retake it online with BYU's independent studies courses. However, it was and still is super difficult to finish it, and I will be out of the country most of the summer so i will not be able to take the final (which you have to take iwth a proctor). If i drop it, will I get rescinded? SHould I call and ask? please help!

they accepted you without the retake?

Yeah, but i wrote that I was taking the BYU class during my senior year in my application…so can’t i just tell them that I want to take it at SC instead?

That’s tricky I would just try and work something out and see if you can take the final early or something…

So I called and they told me to send a letter to the associate director of admissions, and fax it with my senior year grades, but I was wondering if anyone wanted to take a look at it and see if it’s appropriate? Please? I have never really written a letter like this, so any help would be greatly appreciated :)
