Will I Have To Go To Cgs?

I’m applying to ED to SMG at BU this Fall. If I don’t get in, and they offer me CGS, am I bound to take it like I would be if I had gotten into SMG?

Are you bound (via ED) to go to CGS if you didn’t apply there in the first place?

Any knowledge on this would be very helpful – definitely don’t want to get wind up being bound to go CGS when all I’m interested in is SMG.

Thanks!

They don't offer you CGS for ED. They would just defer you to the regular decision pool.

You can't get into CGS via ED? As long as I wouldn't be bound to go if I didn't get into SMG that's fine -- I at least want to be able to weigh my options with other schools if that happens.

Hopefully it won't and I'll get into SMG!!

Thanks for your help.

You can apply ED to CGS, yes, but that doesn't pertain to your question. No, you won't be bound to attend CGS for applying ED to SMG.

Cgs Is Great.

Depends on your definition of 'great'.

dont worry about it.

Don't worry about what?

CGS IS PRETTY DAM PRESTIGIOUS AND ACCEPTS LIKE NO APPLICANTS cgs IS TRULY MY DREAM WITH A 3.5 UW 3.85 W

I agree!!!

Why are people so negative about the College of General Studies!!
I got in ED and applied there. I plan on getting all my General Ed courses done
and a summer course to continue in Pre Med.
