Will I Make It?

I’m a sophomore in high school, and I’m wondering if I’ll make it to a good college. The first quarter ends Friday, and as of now I have a 3.85 GPA (I have one assignment to turn in for two classes.) I am in AP World History, Business Essentials, and Health Professions classes this year. As a freshman, my average GPA was somewhere near a 3.4, but it would have been higher if I hadn’t missed some days in fitness class and not made up for the missed points (20 points a day.)

I’m interested in going to college to be a Physician Assistant, and I’m wondering if you guys think I’ll make it into a good college.

Of course you will get into a “good” college. There are over 4000 colleges in the US. Just keep up your grades, spend time on EC’s that you enjoy and prep for the SAT/ACT Junior year. Repost at the end of your Junior, with GPA, test scores and EC’s and posters can give you an idea what “good” colleges you have a chance of attending. Also many colleges will not use Freshman year grades in the their GPA calculation.

What’s a “good college” for you? HYPSM+, is very different from a state flagship.
