So when I talked to the main people about summer courses they said during summer the admin for withdrawing classes is more lax then regular semesters. I am freaked out because I need to get the chair to sign the withdrawal petition (my prof already approved it and signed the form). The classes are over next week and I know people who w/drew from the classes due to the fact that they were failing. The deadline has not passed and right now before the 3rd the dean does not need to sign this petition. My reason for withdrawing is this was my first summer session and I took way too many classes (2 lectures and a lab for one of them). Whats the chance that the chair will sign the petition? (I haven't gotten any other W's). I waited this long because I wanted to wait till the 3rd test, but I think I should have just withdrawn. I am a science major and already signed up to retake the class.
