Will I still be considered for Richmond Scholars if I submitted over an hour late?

I know this is entirely my fault, but there’s something incredibly wrong with the internet in my neighborhood. Whenever there’s a big rainstorm or snowstorm, the internet goes out. Anyway, there was a fat rainstorm tonight, and like clockwork, the internet went out. We use Comcast and no one in the neighborhood will make a service call because everyone is stingy and doesn’t want to incur the potential costs in case it isn’t a company issue. So, the internet went out for a couple hours, and I wasn’t able to submit my supplement until 1:14 a.m. EST. FYI Cursing Comcast did not make the internet go back on any quicker. I feel like this would be too silly of an inquiry to email admissions with. Between the higher EA acceptance rate and finding out earlier, am really regretting not applying EA right now.

I would let them know you had no cable. I would not include the information about it ‘always’ happening or that neighbors are too cheap to pay for a service call. Um, if it ALWAYS happens, why didn’t you plan for this? Why don’t you call for service?

My parents are included in the bunch of neighbors who are too cheap to pay for a service call :))
