will knowing asl slightly impress adcom?

So this is regarding the languages section in the common app….

I took up learning ASL as a hobby and I’m self-learning it. I’m not fluent in it yet but do you think that mentioning ASL in the languages section instead of another language I listed (listed 5) will make a difference as knowing ASL is considered somewhat unique?

My top choices are Columbia, Cornell, Penn, and NYU.
Also, I’m aware that the adcom are going to be looking at my application as a whole and giving really less attention to the languages section but I’m just trying to craft a perfect application because getting into my top choices (or even any uni in the US) would mean the so much to me.

Sorry, it’s not that unique, it is a year long class everyone in our public high school of 2000 students take. My kids who didn’t go to that school know ASL, learned it in scouts. It sounds like it is an activity or hobby more than a language if you are not really good at it. It could be worth mentioning, but in languages it sounds like a stretch.
