will midyear reports kill my chances at Ivies

Hello all,
I recently found out that I will be getting 3 B's on the 3 AP classes I am taking this quarter. Last quarter I received 2 B's in those ap courses. I was just wondering as a mostly all A's student with the exception of 3 B's throughout my freshman-Junior year and a Sat score of 1960, am I completely out of consideration because of a bad midyear report to schools such as Cornell, University of Pennsylvania and Princeton? If you have similar situations, please do tell. All advice is much appreciated

Bump for interest (straddling the line between As and Bs in all my classes and it’s infuriating), but I gotta say…I don’t know much about Cornell or UoP, but a 1960 for Princeton is…fairly…bad. Sorry. Have you taken the Subject Tests?

Oh…sorry to say but I think the 1960 will keep you out of all three…are you a legacy or URM or have some other good hook? I’m sure you have some good matches on your list also, right?

I know that a 1960 is not the best of SAT scores but yeah, I have heard of people getting into ivies with them since after all SAT scores are not the only factor in admissions. I know my chances of getting in are very slim, 5-10% but I was just wondering if it completely kicked me out of any chance to get accepted

Well, it probably doesn’t really matter what we tell you-if you’ve heard of applicants admitted with these stats…you can remain hopeful…chances are certainly less than 5-10% but, again, please have back-ups…good luck!
