Hello, I was recently accepted to NYU under Early Decision. I am kind of worried about something. My school requires that all students have at least five classes each semester. This semester I only had four (AP Government, AP Literature, AP Statistics, and Cross Country). My counselor said even though I had completed my high school requirements, I still needed five classes. So I decided to take BYU online course (my school allows students to take these courses for high school credit). I ended up taking Business Law online. Last week I received my grade and got a C in the class. Will NYU see this after my final transcripts are sent and revoke my admission? By the way, I received A's in all my other classes. So will NYU look at this negatively or because it was only an elective and also it wasn't my choice to take the class they won't revoke my admission? I am sorry if this sounds stupid but I am really worried because I have not gotten a grade lower than a B in high school (sorry if I sound like an ass). I also have the option to retake my final in the business law class (which I received a C- on) and I can get a B- in the class if I study, but I just want to know if this is a big problem and I should retake or is it a small problem that I don't need to worry about? I really appreciate anyone who could give me some advice on this, thanks.

Well, take the test again if it worries you so much. I definitely don't think that NYU would revoke admission for 1 C when you made A's in all the other subjects.

NYU will not revoke your admission if they see one C and four A's fall semester. (Ask your guidance counselor.) Relax.

Cross Country?

You met all of your HS requirements and it is your school that has the required 5 classes each semester. NYU will not revoke your admission, especially if you have the rigorous classes such as those you mentioned. RELAX, your in.

I really think they only revoke admission for people who fail, or make all Cs and Ds.

can someone confirm this?

yeah does anyone know anything about stern? like if anyone has gotten their admissions revoked or anything + why? i'm a bit worried because my grades have gone down... thanks

no, your fine, four A's and one C is not bad at all, if they revoke your admission that would be obscene
