Will my admission get rescinded?

Hi, I didn't notice that I had this---

Provisions of Admission

Complete all courses listed on your application as in progress and/or planned with "C" grades or better.

To remain eligible to attend UCR, you must complete the following courses with a grade of "C" or better:
CHEM M7B Organic Chemistry II

To maintain eligibility to your selecting major, your overall minimum GPA must be 2.70. Your current, evaluated GPA is 2.94 through 10F.

Major: Biochemistry Alt: Biology (Admitted as Bio for UCR)
GPA: 2.94
Prereq: (1 year of gen chem, 1 semester of O chem, 1 year of Biology, and 1 year of calc completed)
EC: Volunteered at a hospital/Part-time job
IGETC: complete by spring
Units: 80+ after spring
TAG: No

My teacher just dropped me from Chem 7B for missing a test, I am already afraid of how this would affect my college admissions for UCSC (my #1, in which I'm still pending). Any suggestions on what I should do??? (My college doesn't offer Chem 7B during the summer). Can my teacher reinstate me into the class? (I was thinking of begging him, telling him my admissions decision is based on the course, and that his decision is dependent on me having to stay another year at a CC)

Do you have a valid reason for not taking the test? (family emergency? Car accident?) First try to explain why you couldn’t attend the class on the day of the exam to your professor, and ask him if it’s possible to reinstate you into the class. If he refuses, then your next best option is to call/email the admission office ASAP and tell them you dropped a major prereq along with your explanation and see how they react.

I was in a similar situation as you. I dropped a major prereq a few weeks ago and I report it to UCI after I get my acceptance letter, and they say I can retake the course at UCI.

Hope it helps. Good luck!!

What reason did you give them for dropping?
