Will my admission get revoked? I am PANICKING!

I accepted PSU-UP's offer of admission. I got accepted with 4.0w/1100.

For the first semester of my Senior Year, I received a 3.0uw/3.3w. As you can see, my grade dropped a lot. The reason for this drop was because I spent too much time doing my AP Chemistry problem sets, while I should spend WAY less time on it and focus on my other classes. The weighted GPA that PSU saw when they accepted me is 0.7 higher than what I received for my first semester of Senior Year. Is there a chance that they might revoke it? For my last semester of HS, I think I can raise that gpa to a 3.5uw/3.8w. Will this be enough?

Dude, just don't get anything lower than a C+ and you'll be fine.

Yes, it will be enough.

Whoops, double post.

I doubt Penn State really gives a s***, seriously. As long as you aren't failing, you're fine.

Putting your energy into worrying is a waste of energy. Use it more productively. Check in with your guidance counselor and make sure he or she knows what happened. Talk with your teachers. If PSU gets upset, you'll want to have these folks on your side and then all should be well (you show you can learn from your mistakes...).

Work with your chemistry teacher to learn how to do the problems more efficiently.

Good luck.

Agree 100%. Go back to doing chemistry problem sets. That is way better than worrying about admission being revoked - they won't revoke it!

Don't worry- DO NOT WORRY! Penn State main campus fairly regularly accpets people with GPAs <3.0...You'll be fine
