I just wanted to know if my application would be rescinded by binghamton if my senior year final grades were to look like this: (I was already accepted to bing early action)?

Creative Writting : A-
AP Economics: B/B-
AP Calculus AB: C/C+
Physics: B
Spanish: B
AP Gov't: B-

@WazzaRooney10 If Binghamton is your first choice, I suggest you contact admissions and ask so there is no surprises later and also you’ll know what you must strive for in the second semester.

@WazzaRooney10 I suggest you first speak to your school guidance counselor and/or head of your school’s guidance department. They have been through this situation with other students before --i am sure you are not the first, and they will have an idea as to which colleges/universities may rescind offers (and which ones won’t) and based on what type of grade slippage or for whatever reason. They will know if dropping a level or two from A to B or A to C, etc… in one or more courses puts your offer in jeopardy of being rescinded or not. Based on the grades you posted in rigorous AP courses and other academic courses, my bet is that they will likely say that its unnecessary for you to notify Binghamton or whatever college you are planning to attend. Just don’t dip much lower for the remainder of the year.

I would suggest going to clinic or office hours and putting a priority on your AP courses to prepare for the AP exams. Binghamton is a great school and is generous with offering AP credit. It is worth some $$$ to have college courses already in the bank and possibly finish a semester early. And no, I highly doubt you will be rescinded with those grades. Good luck to you.
