I submitted my application, ACT scores, and payment on time. But the problem is with my transcripts. The deadline is 1st December and the application status says that they received it only on the 3rd of December.

So, will my application become void? Help a worried applicant! Thanks.

I’ve heard that late applications get reviewed on a space-available basis only. So, in other words, no, I don’t think your application is completely void at this point.

What I was told was with transcripts, there is some leeway as it’s the school who is sending it off. But you MUST contact the UT counselor for your area and/or admissions. The same thing happened to me for UT, but I contacted the counselor and he helped me through the process and my application was counted.

The problem is I am an international student. So, I am supposed to collect all the transcripts and recommendations and send it off myself. But, the last week of November was national examinations period and I could not get to the teachers very quickly since they were on duty in other schools.

Nope. Mine reads “We’ve received all the items needed to review your application for admission”.

Btw, do you think it would ok to call them tomorrow and ask them if my application is still counted?

Yeah Sgapplicant. I call them up once a WEEK. I’m not even joking haha. They don’t mind helping you out at all. Just have your UT EID ready. You can also email them, but calling is faster.

I am an international student too, I sent everything in by november. My applcation status is the same as yours, so I think you’ll be fine! What majors did you choose?

Hi sgapplicant, if you don’t mind, could you please share your stats?
I’m really worried because about 3000 international students apply each year, only about 600 get in…
