Will my financial aid for UCSD be met?

<p>ok, so i am extremely poor.</p>

<p>my mom is on SSI, no dad, i have a job i make about 12k a year.
Our EFC is usually 0. However since i always attended community college the pell grant and BOGFW always covered my tutition, books, and then some.</p>

<p>I also get Cal Grant B while in community college, this is actually the 1st time i recieved it.</p>

<p>What i am wondering is, will my financial aid for UCSD be covered or will i need to take out student loans?</p>

<p>Generally, the UCs will cover your full need, but the package will include some loans.</p>

<p>i dont get is UC 6k a quarter or a year?</p>

<p>UCSD's website shows an approx total undergrad budget of $21k if you live on campus or $15k if you live at home. In addition to loans, the UC's may also require workstudy or summer earnings.</p>
